And here we go again! I woke up at the second rest area, and the time was already around 6:00 a.m.

I got off the bus to brush my teeth. Then I realized that the place was not just a rest area. It was also part of the Laos immigration area. There were many people eating there.

At that time, I still had not received my meal money from school. Luckily, I still had around 50,000 VND, so I used it to buy some snacks for the journey.

After that, we went to immigration to submit our passports. The process took quite a long time. Other people were processed before us, while our group had to wait until later. I think we waited for around one hour, but it was okay.

We also had to get our passports stamped before continuing our journey. The whole passport and immigration process took a really long time, maybe around three hours.

We finally got back on the bus at around 10:00 a.m. and continued our journey.

During the trip, I watched a movie on my laptop. However, after only a few minutes, Dwi and I started feeling sick and nauseous, so I closed my laptop and decided to sleep instead.

I slept for quite a long time. I honestly do not even remember how many hours I slept! At one point, I woke up and saw Dwi still watching the movie. But I was still very sleepy, so I decided not to watch and went back to sleep.

At around 7:00 p.m., I finally woke up because I was tired of sleeping. I got up and started talking with the others.

After that, Yugi and I watched another movie together. In the middle of the movie, the bus stopped somewhere. I am not sure whether it was another rest area or just a stop along the way.

Some people exchanged their Vietnamese money into Lao Kip with the driver. Since I did not have any cash left, I could not exchange any money. So, I just accepted it and continued the journey.

And guess what? We still had not arrived in Laos yet!

I was already very hungry because I had not eaten rice for almost two days. At that point, I decided to just sleep and hoped that when I woke up, we would finally be in Laos.

And it actually happened!

At around 12:00 midnight, we were woken up because we had finally arrived at the terminal in Laos.

A bus was already waiting to take us to our accommodation. We quickly took our backpacks from the luggage compartment and moved them onto the new bus.

We finally arrived at our accommodation at around 12:30 a.m.

After arriving, I put my things in my room, prayed, and organized some of my belongings. By the time everything was finished, it was already around 2:00 a.m.

I was completely exhausted, so I finally went to sleep.

Good night, Laos! 🇱🇦
