Hello, everyone! Welcome back with me, Mumtaz. Today is the second day of my Backpacker journey.
If you ask me how I feel after these two days, honestly, I feel happy. However, when everything becomes quiet, I sometimes still think about my family and friends in Indonesia.
The journey is only around ten months, but it still feels difficult. Maybe I still need more time to adapt. I believe this is only a phase, and I am sure that I can get through it.
My activities today started with the Fajr prayer. After that, I went back to sleep until around 9:00 a.m. Mr Malik woke me up and asked me to go downstairs. We went to the building where Groups 1 and 2 were preparing breakfast.
However, I waited for a long time and did not get any task, so I decided to leave at around 10:00 a.m. I went to Mixue with Abdul, Fathir, Qaidy, and Syauqi.
At Mixue, I ordered Black Peach Tea for 22,000 VND. In Indonesian rupiah, it was around Rp15,000. It was a little cheaper than in Indonesia.
We enjoyed our drinks on the Mixue terrace. Across the street, we saw a place called Hips Pizza. Because we were curious, we decided to try the food there.
We ordered a small bolognese pizza for around 59,000 VND. It was a little expensive, but it was okay because we only wanted to try it.
After that, we were stuck because of the rain for about one hour. We waited inside the pizza restaurant, but the rain did not stop. Finally, we decided to go back to our accommodation.
The streets were already flooded. We arrived at the accommodation with wet clothes. After arriving, I took a shower, performed the Dhuhr prayer, and slept until Asr.
After the Asr prayer, I went outside to find some food. I bought a food called bánh mì gà xé phô mai for around 35,000 VND.
After eating, we returned to our accommodation. In the evening, we performed the Maghrib and Isha prayers. Now, I am writing the story of my second day.
