Hello, everyone! Welcome back to Day 10 of my Backpacker journey.
After spending almost the whole previous day resting, today we had a visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Hanoi.
We left our accommodation at around 9:00 a.m. When we arrived at the embassy, we were warmly welcomed by the Indonesian staff. They invited us inside, and the place was very comfortable. The room was cool because of the air conditioner, and everyone treated us very kindly.
After that, we sat down and listened to a presentation about the Indonesian Embassy and its role in helping Indonesian citizens living or traveling in Vietnam. It was interesting to learn more about their work.
One of the best parts was the food. We were served some Indonesian snacks such as pastel, macaroni schotel, and oranges. I was really happy because it had been a while since I ate Indonesian food. Everything tasted delicious!
The visit finished at around 12:00 p.m. After that, we were given some free time to have lunch before returning to our accommodation.
I decided to eat at McDonald's. The waiting time was a little long, but it was worth it. The food was delicious, and I felt very full afterward.
We arrived back at the accommodation at around 1:00 p.m. As soon as I got back, I opened my laptop to continue writing my journal and working on my assignments.
The rest of the afternoon was quite normal. I performed my prayers and continued working as usual.
After the Maghrib prayer, I started feeling hungry again. Unfortunately, the microwave was broken, so I could not heat the food that was already prepared. Instead of staying hungry, I cooked some Indomie and ate it with the eggs that had already been cooked earlier.
That was all for today. Now it's time to get some rest because tomorrow we have another exciting event.
