Today started like usual I woke up, prayed, and did my morning dhikr. This time, I was on cooking duty again. Long story short, I cooked omelets, fried tofu, and crispy enoki mushrooms. It actually tasted good, but it was really salty.
We finished eating at around 9 AM and stayed at the homestay until Dhuhr. After the Dhuhr prayer, we headed to a mini soccer field. Before we started playing, a friend of Ibrahim’s mom who works in Vietnam came to meet us. He shared insights about working in Vietnam and talked a bit about his personal experiences. The sharing session lasted about 30 minutes.
After that, we finally played mini soccer. It was really fun, even though the weather in Hanoi that afternoon was extremely hot. We played for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Once we finished, we took a group photo with Ibrahim’s mom’s friend. He was really kind he gave us snacks and even bought each group a portion of a famous Vietnamese roasted duck dish.
After that, we headed back to the homestay. There wasn’t much to do we mostly just relaxed and hung out. After Maghrib, we ate the roasted duck. Personally, I’m not really a fan of duck, but I have to admit it actually tasted pretty good.
After dinner, we performed the Isha prayer. Then we all agreed to cook our instant noodles (Indomie) together and eat as a group it was honestly really delicious and fun.
After that, there wasn’t much else going on. By around 10 PM, we went to sleep
