On 25 July 2026, we gathered at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Terminal 3, East Lobby, at 5:00 p.m. At the airport, we had several activities. First, the school gave a short speech. Then, we spent quality time with our families before saying goodbye.
At around 11:00 p.m., we checked in for our flight. During check-in, I had a small problem. I forgot to move my flashlight from my suitcase to my daypack. The flashlight had a battery, so I had to take it out of my suitcase before I could continue the check-in process.
Our flight was scheduled to leave at 1:30 a.m. on 26 July 2026, but it was delayed until 2:30 a.m. We did not know the reason for the delay. After saying goodbye to our parents, we went to the boarding gate at around 12:00 a.m. I felt many emotions at the same time. I was happy, sad, and excited.
After boarding, we waited in the waiting area until it was time to get on the airplane. We flew with Vietnam Airlines. I sat in seat 32E, and the seat next to me was empty.
On the plane, the airline served food. There were two meal choices: chicken with noodles or shrimp with rice. I do not really like seafood, so I chose the chicken with noodles. I also drank orange juice. There were many drink choices, such as milk, soft drinks, coffee, and others.
The flight took about four hours. During the flight, I enjoyed my meal and spent most of the time resting so I would be ready for the next activities.
