Let us go directly to the story of my fifth day. On Thursday, it was my group’s turn to cook.
I woke up at around 5:00 a.m. and performed the Fajr prayer. After that, I did not join the halaqah because Fattah and I were asked to buy cooking ingredients.
Several groups were responsible for cooking. Group 3 included Aiman and Radik. Group 4 included Fattah and me. Group 5 included Ipuy and Reyhan.
Ipuy, Reyhan, and I were asked to buy noodles from a minimarket. The other members went to the traditional market with Mr Wisnu and Mustakim.
We planned to make a noodle omelet. However, the final result was not exactly what we expected.
When we arrived at the minimarket, it was still closed. In the end, the three of us returned to the accommodation with only some eggs. Our friends who went to the market bought flour, pepper, and several other ingredients.
After that, I slept until around 7:00 a.m. Then, we started cooking until around 9:00 a.m.
After cooking, we continued with our learning activities until 11:00 a.m.
When the lesson finished, we received another vlog assignment. We had to take pictures of objects with a specific color. Every group received a different color. My group received yellow.
We worked on the assignment until around 4:00 p.m. After that, I rested for a short time and continued with my cooking duty.
In the morning, our teachers had already bought some chicken. I planned to make chicken similar to pok-pok chicken or Shihlin chicken. Unfortunately, it did not turn out well because we used the wrong type of flour.
The dinner did not taste exactly as we expected. However, it was not a problem because we learned how to cook and work together.
After dinner, we rested.
