Our third day in Vietnam was quite eventful and a little tiring, but it was also a lot of fun.
We woke up before dawn for Fajr prayer, prayed together, and continued with our morning dzikr and a short halaqah session. After that, we had planned to go out for a morning walk or find breakfast, but it started raining, so we decided to go back to sleep for a while.
I woke up again at around 9:00 a.m. We planned to help Group 5 prepare lunch, but their kitchen was already crowded, so we couldn't really do much. Instead, we went back to our room and spent some time chatting while waiting for Dzuhur prayer.
After Dzuhur, I took a shower and got ready because we were planning to buy a local SIM card. The shop was about 1.5 kilometers away, so we walked there together. Once we arrived, we shared the cost of a SIM card, which was much cheaper than we expected.
Since we were already hungry, we looked around for something to eat. Near the SIM card shop, we found a Circle K, where I bought a matcha soft cake. It was surprisingly delicious and only cost around 18,000 VND.
Not long after that, our group decided to order Domino's Pizza together. The total came to around 200,000 VND, and sharing it made the meal both affordable and enjoyable.
Just as we were about to head back, heavy rain started pouring down. We waited for about thirty minutes before it finally slowed enough for us to continue walking back to the accommodation.
Later that afternoon, I went with Ibra to visit the building where Groups 1 and 2 were staying because I wanted to borrow a book from Alvino. Unfortunately, he wasn't there, so we returned to our room.
In the evening, we prepared dinner together before having some free time. After performing our prayers, we had our weekly phone call session with our families back home. It was nice to catch up with everyone before ending the day and getting some well-deserved rest.
